Oh Nashville.

I been on P.O.S. for a minute. he heads up the Doomtree collective (who make appearances in this video). His new album Never Better came out a few weeks ago, and besides it being one of the best albums released so far this year (for a fan of any kind of music, everyone can find something to like in this), he has also made 6 videos for the album so far. This is the second one released, for the song “Optimist”. P.O.S. is a different kind of rap than your everyday shit, in that he stimulates the mind rather than dumbing it down. in this song he talks about people not understanding/liking his music, and it’s okay “because we say we are not for them.” if you’re feeling this at all, there are some even better cuts on the album. seriously, get Never Better, you will find something to like about it. P.O.S. is a poet.
